There are so many restaurants and places to eat and drink around us - these are just a few of our current local favs. You should also look at travelling outside of Sanur as there are some amazing places to eat and drink around this island but places change often and we recommend you get Googling and see what you can find.
Barbarosa At the top of our road this is a great easy one for either dine in or take away dinners. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we prefer dinners. It's Mediterranean with a touch of local there too - their wood-fired pizzas are great and make for a nice night at home if you have had enough of eating out.
Bebek Cottages This lovely little place is walking distance from the villa and is very calm and serene - its our mum's favourite for breakfast. There have a nice simple menu and the gardens are amazing. Great for anyone interested in the Balinese architecture and tropical gardens.
Gardenias A favourite for afternoon tea, cakes and Aussie coffees, Gardenia's is a long standing favourite - again just a bike ride away. They also do a great breakfast.
Genius A favourite of the whole family - we love breakfast here - the juices are amazing, the coffee is good and the hash brown eggs are yummo! You can go Uber healthy here and get their buck wheat pancakes or get stuck into the not so healthy options! You can chill here throughout the day and we often use it as our beach base. The staff are awesome and the wifi is good!
Lilla Pantai Standing in perfect view of the sea, this is a beautiful little cafe. Service can be a bit slow - make sure not to arrive too hungry. Breakfast and dinner is good here.
Massimos The best Italian in town. A long term favourite of ours. If you are lucky you might meet the man himself. The food is exceptional and the gelato renowned - book early!
Nelayan A new spot for us. Lovely to have happy hour, granitas for the kids and nibbles!
